Home Page - Prescot Roll of Honour

This web site is dedicated to the men of Prescot, Lancashire, who gave their lives for King and Country in the Great War 1914-1919, and also to those men who served and returned home

In Loving Memory of Stephen James Nulty
1957 – 2024
“Lest We Forget”

Welcome to the restored Prescot Roll of Honour created by our Dad—a labour of love dedicated to honouring every soldier from Prescot who served in the First World War.

This was more than just a project to him. It was a mission. He worked tirelessly for years to ensure that no Prescotian who answered the call to war would ever be forgotten. Every name, every regiment, every story he uncovered and preserved here is a testament to his deep respect for those who served—and a reflection of his integrity, compassion, and incredible heart.

Through his dedication, our Dad gave voice to the past and dignity to the fallen. He built this site as a place of remembrance and education, so that future generations could know and understand the sacrifices made by the sons of Prescot.

After Dad's sudden passing in November 2024, we knew the most meaningful tribute would be to continue what he started.

Let this page be not only a memorial to the fallen, but also to our Dad, Stephen, who held them close in his heart—and, through this project, placed them gently back into the heart of Prescot.

With love, pride, and unending gratitude,
Anne-Marie and Tom
(Proud Daughter and Son of Stephen)
